The health and risk factor questionnaire harmonization protocol includes variables collected at baseline by five population-bases cohorts. The current dataset is the seventh release and includes 935 core variables.
The harmonized dataset covers information on participants':
- Socio-demographic and economic characteristics (ethnic background, education level, employment status and other job-related information, income, etc.)
- Lifestyle and behaviours (alcohol use, tobacco use, diet and nutrition, sleep patterns, physical activity (IPAQ))
- Reproductive health history
- Personal and family history of diseases
- Use of prescription medications (medication name, DIN number, ATC code of medication, main anatomical group pertaining to medication)
- Non-pharmacological interventions related to diseases
- Self-reported physical measures (height, weight, waist and hip circumferences)
- Physical environment exposures (passive smoke exposure, sun exposure)
- Variables based on open-ended responses
